There is nothing like hunting in Alaska! Our beautiful state has been a premier hunting destination for generations, known for an abundance of wild game. But the future opportunity of hunting in Alaska is being threatened.
Alaska Hunting Conservation Foundation was developed to educate, inform, and fight for hunters, so they can continue to enjoy the memories and adventures that come with every single Alaskan hunt.
We educate the public, as well as our legislators about the importance of wildlife conservation in Alaska to ensure the resource for future generations.
The Alaska Hunting Conservation Foundation was established to educate the public about the importance of conserving the fauna and flora of Alaska for future generations through fair chase hunting, the pursuit of a trophy animal in a legal and sportsmanlike manner without herding, driving, or chasing with mechanical means.
The Alaska Hunting Conservation Foundation works to prevent illegal and unsportsmanlike hunting practices by endorsing and fostering a code of ethics and compliance with relevant laws.
The Foundation's organizers and officers are all involved with the Alaska Professional Hunters Association, which since 1973 has actively worked to promote Alaskan hunting through its efforts to further the guided hunting industry. The organization's expert hunters love the outdoors and wish to use their resources and expertise to benefit the public with charitable endeavors.
The Alaska Hunting Conservation Foundation is able to operate through the generous donations of our benefactors.
